Strawberries, dirty dozen and cancer.
For the second year, strawberries have topped the list of produce with the most pesticides, meaning that they have a lot of chemicals that can cause diseases and cancer. Several years ago I decided to plant strawberries. I learn that they are easy to grow and very productive! From this small plot I can feed 4 people during the season + freeze 2 or 3 pounds. I use horse minor as organic fertilizer!
